Perth city, the capital of Western Australia, is situated along the banks of the
Swan River. The river twists through the city and ends at Port of Fremantle where you can see some impressive mansions of Perth’s inhabitants. The river offers excellent opportunities for recreational activities. Although the city centre is quite small and there are not that many sights (there is only one museum), Perth is a perfect spot to catch your breath again. The Indian Ocean is less than 15 kilometres away and offers a perfect day-trip. An absolute must is the Kings Park, where you can overlook the hustle and bustle amidst the calm of the Australian bush.
